I served my apprenticeship as a carpenter and joiner in Ireland — learning the craft the old school way, exactly as it had been done for generations. By 19 years old I was building acoustic environments — walls, ceilings, floors & isolation systems — in hotels, concert halls & recording studios throughout Europe. By 1998, I was in New York City, where I've been building acoustic construction & soundproofing ever since.

Twenty-eight years later, Quiet Zone is New York City's trusted acoustic builder — recording studios, residential soundproofing, and commercial noise control across the NYC Metro area. Every project personally managed by me, with one dedicated construction team, built exactly to specification.
